Viacheslav Ostroukh
Research interests
I use to work on the border between theoretical physics and software development. During my Ph.D. I worked mostly on modeling of quantum transport in mesoscopic systems. In my postdoctoral research I performed realistic simulations of a quantum computations. The thing that unites these positions is that I work closely to applied science projects and use my habits and experience to get insights into cutting-edge experiments in quantum physics.
I am maintaining quantumsim -- Python package for realistic simulations of quantum computations. I like to hack with my PC and learn new things.
In the Quantum Tinkerer group, I am working on IT infrastructure and participating in the development of various research- and education-related projects.
